What Trim Includes After the Trimming Process
Trim is the collective term for plant material removed from cannabis flowers during post-harvest processing. This material primarily consists of sugar leaves, small stem fragments, and other non-essential foliage that surrounds the buds. While separated from the main flower, trim still contains varying levels of cannabinoids and terpenes.
How Trim Is Produced During Wet and Dry Trimming
Trim is generated during both wet trim and dry trim processes. The quantity and quality of trim depend on trimming technique, plant structure, and how aggressively leaves are removed. Careful trimming preserves more flower mass while still producing usable trim material.
